Keen Carp angler, Mark Parrish bagged this 25ilb 2oz Mirror from a local day ticket water to register a new personal best. Mark fished a 15mm CCB Goldfish pop-up on a chod rig, and is one of several good fish taken by Mark recently, on the same tactics. Mark is of to France at the end of the month on a family holiday, but i have it on good authority, that his two sons and himself will be doing some fishing!!! Look forward to receiving some pictures when you get back mate.

Hard to catch Koi !!
by Gary Spencer on Aug.06, 2010, under Latest News
Luke Parish is no stranger to catching a few Carp at his local lakes, but they are not usually Orange ones!! Luke caught this 13lb 2oz Koi Carp along with a few nice Mirrors on his favorite bait CCB,s Peaches and Cream. The Spalding based teenager obviously knows what he is doing as Koi Carp for some reason are notoriously hard to catch. Nice one Luke , just one word of advice ,next time hold the fish a little higher to cover up that Arsenal badge!!! up the reds !!
Nice one John Boy!!
by Gary Spencer on Jul.28, 2010, under Latest News
Pingles Pool bailiff, and work party organiser (yeah right!!) John Hardy made a very rare visit to Pingles Pool with brother Mark ( AKA the Crimper) and Dan Gould, for a swift overnight session. Now John Boy does not fish that much, but according to the crimper , is a right lucky so and so! Not wanting to disappoint his little brother, he promptly caught this stunning mirror at bang on 29lbs!!! Casting at a showing fish, spotted in the moonlight, and his single balanced CCB Red berry boilie did the rest . The crimper reckons he just spun round 3 times and let the lead fly and the lucky git got one, or words to that effect. To my knowledge this fish has only been caught 3 times in the last 4 years so i think he is lucky too !
30 Years of Carping
by TheCarpCatcher on Jul.23, 2010, under Abbey lake, Latest News
Peaches and cream is doing the business on Abbey with a fine brace from TheCarpCatcher.
This second fish came in at 22.12lb the first being just under 18lb.
Peaches & Cream snowmen on a long combi-rig did the trick just off the edge of a very weedy plateau.

Very long and very strong !
by Gary Spencer on Jul.13, 2010, under Latest News, Pingles pool
Wow!!!! just look at this very long and very strong, Pingles pool common, caught by Dan Gould at bang on 28lbs . No point in me babbling on about this one, they say every picture tells a story, and in this case i reckon there right.
Nice one Dan, and a great photo too !
The Crimper bags a stunner!!
by Gary Spencer on Jul.13, 2010, under Latest News
Ace crimper, and scissor jockey Mark Hardy caught this Pingles Pool stunner on a Red Berry bottom bait during a mid week overnighter . After a good first season on the pool, where he more than held his own, Mark is now catching regularly, and i don’t think it will be very long before he cracks the thirty pound barrier, and it will be well deserved. A thinking hard working angler that is getting good results for his efforts.
Just back fom Texas!
by Gary Spencer on Jul.13, 2010, under Latest News
After a recent trip to the Trinity River in pursuit of Alligator Gar which he caught to over 100lb,Nobby Thurgood started his summer Carp campaign in fine style, with the capture of this stunning 33lb common. Nobby caught the carp from a large gravel pit in the Nene valley on a CCB Peaches and Cream pop-up, fished over a couple of kilos of freebies. A nice result on a very tough venue, and the first of many we hope.
Early morning Thirty
by Gary Spencer on Jul.12, 2010, under Latest News
After catching a 30-15 the previous morning i re-baited a unfished corner of a Cambs syndicate lake with a couple of kilos of CCB Goldfish boilies. Returning the following morning i sneaked a couple of rods in and in no time at all bagged this 35-14 Mirror . Thinking there was a possibility of 3 in a row i returned the next morning and hooked another big fish. I was taking the pictures in my mind when it fell off !!! ah well, you cannot win em all !
